The second one of my market series. A market in Africa this time! All made with the line and pen tool. Link to ref pic: [link]
There were some questions people asked that i feel needed to be cleared up
- What's your goal with these markets?
- I try to make an animated series of markets from all over the world. Each marked is based on the unique culture, lifestyle and architecture the country has
- Where's the music from?
- All music in the series are from several songs of Radiohead. I have contact with the band on the website myspace. I showed them some of my art, they dont mind me using their music!
- How did you make the background so detailed? Did you rotoscope the characters?
- I have a picture i use as reference. Alot of the background i draw myself though. And no i dont rotoscope the characters, i dont use reference for those.
- How many more will you make?
- I plan on making a total of 5. Im not gonna tell yet from which countries, but if you feel there is a really cool market in your country and you can take & send me a pic of it, then i will consider using it. I plan on making one each 6-10 months.
